Here’s why it matters: out-of-hospital cardiac arrest affects over 350,000 people a year in the U.S., yet fewer than half get CPR from a bystander before EMS arrives. Research shows that starting CPR within two minutes can boost someone’s chance of surviving to hospital discharge by 81%, and starting it even up to 10 minutes later still improves survival by 19% compared to no CPR at all. Those minutes belong to the people around the person in crisis, which means they could belong to you.
This is a great class for parents, grandparents, coaches, caregivers, or anyone who wants to be ready to help a neighbor, friend, or family member when it counts most.
